What Students Are Saying...
“Ashlee goes beyond simple technical instruction to inspire students of a wide range of abilities, experiences, and interests. She shows her students how to understand music on a higher level.”
“Ashlee is a true musician. Besides being a fantastic pianist, she is generous of spirit. She has absolute confidence in each of her students' abilities and easily adapts to individual students' needs.”
“The encouragement that Ashlee gives to always do one’s personal best and to put one’s self fully into the music inspires students to go above and beyond what they thought was possible with their own playing.”
“As a music student with a physical disability, I found Ashlee to be a great teacher who not only accommodates and enriches your skill level, but can also work with any physical limitations, so that practice and performance can be fulfilling.”
“Ashlee is mindful of representation by providing a diverse repertoire of pieces by varying composers. Many of the pieces we worked on are still favorites to play to this day.”
“I'd always struggled to perform in front of people. Ashlee really helped me work on those fears. She has a way of knowing just what music to pick for you that will challenge you and encourage you to keep getting better.”
